As a dental assistant for an Oral Surgeon in Maryland, Luca Simmons assists during surgical procedures and provides pre-op and post-op care for clinic patients. He also performs administrative duties such as resolving general customer service issues, scheduling patient appointments, updating patient charts, and processing insurance claims. In addition to his specific dental training, Luca Simmons received CPR training and certification through the American Red Cross and certification in basic life support for health care providers from the American Heart Association.
In addition to his responsibilities at the clinic, Luca Simmons is concurrently pursuing a bachelor of business administration at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Prior to enrolling at Johns Hopkins in 2016, he has gained admittance to the Phi Theta Kappa international honor society.
Outside of the professional and academic environments, Mr. Simmons enjoys watching and playing baseball. From 2011 to 2013, he volunteered as an assistant coach with the Roland Park Baseball League in Baltimore, Maryland.
